One of Leeds United’s fifteen players who are on international duty over the March break got into a brawl with a ball boy on Sunday after scoring.
Mauricio Pochettino and the USMNT have left Brenden Aaronson behind, but Isaac Schmidt has made a surprising call to join Switzerland’s squad, joining 15 other Leeds players representing their nations.
Rasmus Kristensen has been called up for Denmark once more, joining the first-team Leeds players, those playing for the U21 and U19 teams, and those on loan from Leeds but still representing their nations.
The Bundesliga team Frankfurt has the right-back on fire, and Kristensen is anticipated to become a permanent member of Frankfurt. Given that a transaction is expected to cost £5 million, Leeds will lose £5 million on Kristensen.
Kristensen scored the opening goal as Frankfurt defeated Bochum 3-1 on the road on Sunday. Although his initial attempt was saved, the Dane skillfully scored the rebound after it bounced back to him.
That is now six goals and assists for Kristensen this season, scoring three himself. But in an eventful game, Kristensen also got into a scrap with a ball boy and had a tussle with Bochum fans as per German site FR.
“An important goal to put Frankfurt 1-0 up. No matter. A game tailor-made for him, physical and snappy. He even got into a battle with the ball guy and the audience, which he needed. A powerful demonstration
It is evident that Kristensen has performed well wherever he has played throughout his career when he is selected first for a team that is vying for the top spot. a team that prioritizes attacking over defending.
