Fans are angry at the Dallas Cowboys for having a relatively quiet offseason so far. The Cowboys missed the playoffs the previous season and had to watch their fierce rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, win the Super Bowl. Fans want to see the Cowboys working to improve their roster in order to prevent a recurrence of the team’s shortcomings. One league insider claims that on Tuesday, Dallas fans finally received some news to be excited about.
The Dallas Cowboys and former Jets defensive end Solomon Thomas reached an agreement today for a two-year contract worth up to $8 million, according to a source. “Dallas is home for Thomas, and now he gets to go back,” ESN’s Adam Schefter reported on Tuesday.
One fan posted on Twitter, “Excellent acquisition for the Cowboys—Solomon Thomas adds leadership, experience, and good depth to the D-line.”
One Jets fan said, “He is not all that. Glad he is heading somewhere he can get more playing time.” Another said, “Former Man of the Year Award Winner. I thought for sure he was a lock to SF or ATL.” It will be intriguing to see what other moves the Cowboys have up their sleeves.
