Kelly Osbourne has emphatically dispelled swirling rumors suggesting her parents — rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and music manager Sharon Osbourne — have entered into a “suicide pact.” Addressing the matter directly on Instagram Stories on July 11, Kelly voiced frustration over sensational claims gaining traction online.

An AI-generated video recently circulated on social media, deceptively mimicking her father’s gravelly voice and claiming, “I don’t need a doctor to tell me that I’m going to die. I know I’m going to die.” Shocked and angered by the false narrative, Kelly erupted: “What the f—‑‑ is wrong with you people?” She underscored that while Ozzy, 76, lives with Parkinson’s disease, he is not dying.

The video also referenced a long-standing, oft-misrepresented discussion of an assisted‑suicide agreement. In her 2007 memoir Survivor: My Story – The Next Chapter, Sharon openly discussed a plan to travel to Switzerland’s Dignitas should either suffer from a degenerative condition like Alzheimer’s. This topic resurfaced again in a 2023 episode of The Osbournes podcast, when son Jack asked if euthanasia remained part of their future intentions. Sharon affirmed it as an option, saying, “Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if … you’ve got mental and physical, see ya”.

But Kelly insists these past remarks have been twisted beyond recognition. She asserted: “Stop making articles or posts about how you think my parents are having a suicide pact. That was bulls—‑ my mum said to get attention one time.” She reiterated that Ozzy is stable and far from approaching death.

Kelly’s comments came just days after Ozzy’s final Black Sabbath performance on July 5 in Birmingham — an emotional farewell for fans and family. She was also celebrating her recent engagement to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson backstage during the event.

In summary, while Ozzy and Sharon have in the past expressed openness to assisted end-of-life plans if faced with debilitating illness, Kelly maintains this was hypothetical and sensationalized. Ozzy is living with Parkinson’s but remains active and far from terminal, and such rumors are nothing more than misleading clickbait.
